Dr. Katy Yar, DDS
Principal Dentist
Began practicing dentistry in 2007 and have proudly served as a dentist in Toronto since 2020. Over the years, my approach to care has remained grounded in three core values: respect, trust, and the desire to positively impact lives by creating healthy, beautiful smiles.
With over 15 years of experience, I take pride not only in my clinical skills but also in the compassion and integrity I bring to every patient relationship. I treat each person who walks through our doors as I would a member of my own family-because your comfort and confidence matter.
Dr. Sakhithya Mohanathaas
Dr. Sakhithya Mohanathaas grew up in Toronto and earned both her Honours Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees from the University of Toronto.
With a passion for delivering high-quality, evidence-based care, Dr. Mohanathaas stays up to date by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars. Her commitment to ongoing learning ensures that her patients receive the most current and effective treatments.
Dr. Mohanathaas is a proud member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario and the Ontario Dental Association. In her free time, she enjoys reading, baking and spending time with family.
Dr. Steven Zhao, DDS
Dr. Steven Zhao possesses a strong passion for providing personal, patient-centered, and evidence-based care through continuing education courses. He was awarded the Toronto Crown and Bridge Award for the most outstanding work in prosthodontics and restorative dentistry while obtaining his Dental Degree from the University of Toronto. He also has a special interest in cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry.
Dr. Zhao focuses on personal attention to each and every one of his patients while addressing their anxieties and concerns. He encourages open discussion and takes the time to explain treatments to his patients. What he enjoys the most about dentistry is not only building beautiful smiles, but listening and sharing stories with his patients.
When Dr. Zhao isn’t building confident and healthy smiles, he’s out trying new restaurants, spending time outdoors on the lake, listening to music, and improving his photography skills.
Dr. Aisha Khoja
is a compassionate and dedicated general dentist and internationally trained orthodontist committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2009 and went on to pursue advanced specialty training in orthodontics. In 2016, she successfully completed a four-year Orthodontic Residency Program at Aga Khan University Hospital in Pakistan, one of the country’s leading academic and healthcare institutions.
Following her orthodontic training, Dr. Khoja continued to expand her clinical experience and expertise in both general dentistry and orthodontics. She obtained her dental licence in Ontario in January 2025 and is registered with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO) as a general dentist.
Dr. Khoja enjoys all aspects of dentistry and provides comprehensive preventive, restorative, cosmetic, and orthodontic care for patients of all ages. Her orthodontic services include traditional braces and Invisalign(r) clear aligners. She is also certified in nitrous oxide sedation and is committed to creating a comfortable, relaxed, and positive experience for her patients.
Dr. Khoja is a member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO), Ontario Dental Association (ODA), and Pakistan Association of Orthodontists (PAO). She is committed to lifelong learning and continuing education, allowing her to stay current with advancements in modern dentistry and provide her patients with high-quality, evidence-based care.
Known for her gentle approach, attention to detail, and genuine care for her patients, Dr. Khoja believes that exceptional dental care is built on clinical excellence, trust, compassion, and individualized treatment. She takes the time to understand each patient’s needs and goals and works closely with them to develop personalized treatment plans that promote optimal oral health, function, and a confident smile.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Khoja enjoys spending quality time with her husband and daughter. She has a passion for sketching, painting, and international travel, which bring creativity, inspiration, and balance to her life.
Dr. Mercedeh
Earned her dental degree from the University of New England in Portland, Maine, in 2019. Committed to advanced clinical excellence, she completed a one-year residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) at Highland Hospital in Oakland, California, followed by a one-year internship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Buffalo. After practicing general dentistry in California, Dr. Mercedeh returned home to Toronto in 2022 to be closer to family.
Outside of work, she enjoys vibrant family life with her two young children, tending to her vegetable garden, and canoeing through the scenic waterways of Southern Ontario.
